NAVAHCS COVID Vaccine Update
Contacting the Governor's Office. The delivery of physical mail to the Governor’s office may be significantly delayed due to safety precautions that Virginia has implemented to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. Apply for and manage the VA benefits and services you’ve earned as a Veteran, Servicemember, or family member—like health care, disability, education, and more.
NAVAHCS has been administering the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to Veterans at the main hospital in Prescott and the Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) throughout northern Arizona. The vaccine is being scheduled for Veterans by priority and vaccination currently is being offered through appointment only. The vaccinations are scheduled using the guidelines outlined by the CDC and Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). NAVAHCS will continue to vaccinate Veterans by priority in a phased approach based on the number of doses received.
Phase 1: Veterans age 75+, on hemodialysis or chemotherapy, and transplant
Phase2: Veterans age 65+

Veterans can click here to sign up for an easy way to stay informed about the COVID vaccine. When you sign up, if you are interested in receiving the COVID vaccine, you can provide your information to have your name added to the list. Veterans are NOT required to sign up to get a vaccination.

Information and links for Veterans to access scheduling information will be made available on the NAVAHCS web site, Facebook page, Gov Delivery email and MyHealtheVet Patient Portal.
It is important to remember that even after you receive the vaccine, you still need to wear a mask, social distance and wash your hands.
